4 MORE DAYS!!!

Holy crap!!!


Only 4 more days until my half marathon. It is so funny I don't feel like I am ready to run 13.1 miles but I guess I am because I have been training. The only problems I have is that I have been getting SHIN SPLINTS!! It takes about 2 miles to finally warm up by shins and then the pain goes away, but how awful to get shin splints 4 days before the race!! Oh and by the way I get a metal!! My nerves are going crazy! I will for sure shed a few sobbing tears! 


Ben just applied for a 2nd job. He had an impression that we need to get out of debt. So he has applied to Tai Pan Trading for a 2nd part time job. I am so proud of him. He is also trying to apply for a new job up on base. Hopefully with the 2nd job and a new one we can be debt free in no time!  WISH US LUCK!!!

Just posted some pictures that were taken of Ben and I a year ago the first of October. This last year as FLOWN!! A lot has happened...I started running. :)

I am really computer alliterate!!

Okay well...


I think I am the most computer alliterate person ever! I need to learn how to work this stupid blog. I really really want to personalize it and make it nice and cute... Good luck with that huh! 


So this last weekend I ran my first 12 miles for my half marathon training!! I pretty much bawled my eyes out when I finished because it gets so emotional. I know..I know.. I am the biggest baby. The thing is I have never really reached a personal goal in my life as difficult as this. I can not explain the feelings I had when I saw the 12.0 miles flash on my GPS watch. I felt like if I can run 12 miles I can just about do anything. My marathon is in about 2 weeks and I can not wait! It will be a huge success!! Ben had been so supportive with it that even he gets emotional. 


Nate and Andrea (Ben's older brother and his wife) had a brand new baby boy. They named him Phoenyx Russell Childs. He is so beautiful! For a bit there he made me a little bit baby hungry but I know that right now is not the right time and I don't think I am quite ready yet. 

CABIN!!

This weekend Ben and I are going to our family cabin. We went up two weekends ago and while up there we got a flat tire!! Ha ha this always happens to us. When we where first married we went up to the cabin and Ben accidentally locked our keys in the car! Then this time we get a flat! Hilarious! So we had to drive all the way back down home to get our spare because a few weeks prior we had a flat. Lucky us! We are brining up the dogs again. They love it up there. Our entire family, besides Dave and Mike who live out of state, will be there this weekend. It is exciting. I am still trying to figure this entire blogging this out. It is kinda Tricky. I will need to have my cousin Alexa help me figure it out. :)
